When visiting my grandparents’ lake house as a kid, they’d set up a tent and let us cousins pretend like we were camping. Grandma would always make these in the oven and bring them out to us so that we’d feel like we were really camping. Roasting the banana changes the the texture to almost a pudding-like consistency.
